How to remove the embedded username in a published OBIEE data source in Tableau Server

When you publish a OBIEE workbook or data source to Tableau server, the default username is shown whenever someone tries to access that datasource or workbook. The concern is that if users try to login using that username with incorrect password, OBIEE might lock out the username after a few attempts.  How can you prevent this problem?


To prevent this issue, you should remove the default username in the published OBIEE data source in Tableau server.  Subsequently, users who try to access the datasource will be prompted to enter both username and password.  See the video tutorial below:
